The 2nd Amendment

I grew up in a house that was very pro-gun control.  I always figured it was a good idea given my dad's temper.  I mean, if we had guns in the house, I may very well be dead by now.  So I grew up deathly afraid of guns.

I also remember I visited my friend in Long Island whose father was a cop, and on her kitchen counter was a pistol.  I remember looking at that thing trying to not walk in front of it and my friend laughing at me.  "It's perfectly safe, Oliver.  Guns don't shoot themselves."

It wasn't until I started following Ron Paul in 2007 that I was convinced that gun control laws are very bad.  They're bad because law-abiding citizens... the good guys... are the ones who are prevented from getting guns.  The criminals are the ones who don't care and get guns anyway.

All these thought experiments are nice, but you really must see what gun-wielding people actually think.  I'll be collecting videos here for my personal edification.
