How to Vote for Ron Paul

So you want to vote for Ron Paul for President.

Good for you.

Well, to get there, he needs to be the Republican Party candidate first.  And in order to be the GOP candidate, he needs to win the GOP nomination.  (btw, GOP stands for "Grand Old Party" and is synonymous with "Republican").

The way he gets the nomination is winning enough State delegates to represent him at the GOP National convention where they do the nominating.

The way to get State delegates is to win the primaries and caucuses that are coming up.

This means YOU need to vote in your state's primaries or caucus for him at your local caucus.

Here in California, only voters registered Republican will be sent a Republican ballot.  If you're registered as a Democrat or Decline-to-state, then your ballot will not have his name on it - and you can't vote for him.

Here's a better video describing this process:

It's a chore to do all this.  And frankly, registering Republican was pretty lame.  But instead of having a lame GOP, I joined to change it from within.

For Californians, you can print this California Voter Registration Form and mail it in.
